If only the man would let himself be a platform, the woman would have a chance to soar and be the woman, wife, mother and great leader she is destined to be .

The piece above shows the two sexes in their unclad state, showing strength, togetherness, balance and most importantly a soaring woman.

Over time the male sex has been considered as the stronger of the two sexes, and has thereby been put on a pedestal, offering him greater opportunities.

Gender equality is the goal, and gender equity is the means to achieve this goal. Gender equity simply is justice, fairness, impartiality in all areas in life.
The hindrances that women face are numerous, ranging from poor education, body shaming, child birth, sexual assault, and the long stemming stereotypes that women are only meant to be useful in the kitchen.
Talking about poor education, the girl child education is the base for a sound social growth. when the girl child is educated, the society benefits, an educated mother, a society leader, doctor, a strong contributing pillar of society, CEO etc, emerges and would in turn educate her children, hereby birthing generations after generations of Literates, care for their families. Educating the girl child helps build her self esteem and worth in the society. Girl child education in Africa is a good place to start.
