Hello friends! A small sketch of a sweet witch and her cat. She looks like me?:)
According to the beliefs, every witch, witch and gypsy fortune-teller must necessarily be a cat. Cats were companions of witches; in them the demons, who carried out the orders of their mistresses, settled themselves. It was believed that witches can turn into a cat nine times, probably because it was believed that the cat has nine lives. About black cats said that this - the embodiment of the devil himself. Throughout medieval Europe, black cats were caught and burned, especially on Thursday during the Shrove week and Easter. A cat, accused of being a witch's companion, was usually executed, burning alive.
