Handmade, delicious Gift boxes
It was one of my friends birthday and wanted to give her something special, not just the usual, completely ordinary bday card and chocolate. I was very much into origami at that time, so why not try and make her a custom gift box, where I can put some chocolate and a small gift in, let's say a pair of earrings? Birthdays usually don't go without a bday cake, but she was on a diet, so what if I could make a box in the shape of a cake slice? That'd be just perfect :) So I made a few different examples.
Yamy!
The gift boxes are made out of different colorful papers. Instead of just packing your gift in normal paper or using a bag, the cute boxes give a special touch to one's impression. Don't they make you drool a bit? I definitely drooled all over the table while making these!
You want one?
If you'd like a memorable and custom-made present box for someone, I'm here to help. Let me know what's your idea and I'll make it possible. Check my Behance page or my website here or simply write to me for more info. Enjoy!
These are adorable! What a great idea!
Ah thank you! Maybe it'll inspire you to make some yourself :) They're really not that difficult to cut and fold.
I'll give it a go! I've made a box that pops open when you lift the lid.
You have a picture? :-D
Omgosh, I wish. The box for an old Nintendo remote control that was made into a wallet. I changed the dimensions on it and made it look like the little chimneys that Mario jumps into. :)
That sounds interesting, why didn't you take a pic? :-D Anyways, looking forward to your art :)
Oh it was from ages ago and it was a surprise gift that I didn't really want to share.
