One of the greatest things about digital drawing is how you can use erase as cross-hatching. I did something similar on transparent film when making serigraphy. The uv-resistent paint could be scraped of the plastic with about the same effect.
Oh yeah, i enjoy this very much - too much sometimes... there is so much possibilities with the textures there. For me there is too much techical steps in printmaking before you get to the actual piece that i don't like so much, but there is an interesting transformation that happens there that i guess would make it worthwhile.

Yes, there is a lot of inertia in print-making, but I have always liked that. It works against my speedy way of working in a good way.
