    Not really. While the style connects to abstract expressionism which is a modern art school there is other elements to consider. It is made with digital media, windows paint specifically with the intention of presenting it here on Steemit and having something of a performative element there, so it is more accurately postmodern art. Anyway for modern art think stuff from around 1860 to 1970s and what comes after is usually referred to as contemporary art which includes postmodern art.
