It's really a pity that your posts don't get enough visibility on Steemit.

This is a great way to gain more visibility and make yourself known on the platform.

Anyway, you're not dorky, it's just that in Steemit there are lots of communities that deal with lots of different topics and organise lots of competitions to support their users.
You just have to get familiar with it.
