Contest Entry For ART EXPLOSION WEEK - Theme "MELANCHOLY"

Art explosion week continues with another theme this week. It's Melancholy and most interesting thing about it is that every artist very well know what is it.

That fact could help us to make better artworks. As I mention above every artist sometimes deal with melancholy. Musicians too. That's how I get idea to make this work.

There's plenty of details who are helped to represent this theme.

Background with radial gradient overlay who is combined with white and light cyan color.

To make it look different layer with some elements added and opacity changed to below 50% with Screen color filter.

Adjustment filter added and make background more dynamic.

Picture of girl who play cello added.

Added two clipping masks in which was brushed effects. It makes picture more grunge.

Gradient map layer added and it makes whole work in cyan theme. It could be done like this but I added one more Gradient map layer on top who made final work in little bit 'green'.
