Exploding Particles

Alright, back in the animation lab. This time I wanted to try something, one on the animation front, but two on the rendering front.

I rendered these particles straight from the viewport, I just turned all the interface elements off and the background black. Then in After Effects added a 2D motion blur and the glow. It came out MUCH better than I expected.

Rendering from the viewport is realtime, so each frame takes basically less than one second, it just takes some time to save a file. I'll definitely be using this more as I did not expect the 2D motion blur to work so well on all these small shapes, but yea, in my geek world of 3D this is quite the revelation, so excuse my excitement that you probably can't relate to.

Hope you all like! As always, thanks for looking peeps!

Looks like angry water XD Nice find on the compositing front too.

Thanks @ryivhnn :) Yea there's an invisible box that the particles are in that give them a fluid dynamics movement.
