---- E36 BMW Drift Car Concept ART ----

Building cars can be done in various ways, sometimes its just a slap together of what you have around, buts sometimes you start with pencil and design the whole thing on paper before you even have the car. Sometimes the car is built exactly as was planed and sometimes the paper version is as far as the concept goes. This is the latter....

I had a mate that wanted something different and wanted to go a Euro stylez drift car but on the cheapy cheap cheap. so after a bit of research I found that the BMW E36 was a cheap as chips chassis to attain, at the time only a couple thousand AUD for the vehicle in pretty average condition. We would eject the factory motor and drop in a RB25DET motor and gearbox from a R33 Nissan Skyline wreck get a custom tail shaft made up and away we go !!!! lol.

On the bodywork side of things I was looking at making up a custom front bar in the Vertex vain but still retaining the BMW look through the grill area. 40mm Widebody Vented front guards, matching rear guard pump. GT wing for good measure and BAM you got yo'self a pretty cheap Euro Drifter that will get alot of WTFs when its out on the track or a spirited drive :)

This is a quick sketch of the concept, and its as far as the project got to go. but it was still fun designing the whole thing and pricing it up. maybe i will cook one up later when im rich and have my own race track, lol
