RE: Art Project With E and Red Dust -- Pokemon Series -- 3 -- First Layer

in #art8 years ago

I thought I recognized more Pokemon. LOL
Honestly, I didn't think I'd ever seem them again after my kids outgrew them...like 10 years ago! HAHA
And I'm super glad to see that you still have E's attention with the art collaboration! Very cool.

I think I'll become a child again, not the diaper weirdo set, the awe that a child carries, a wonderment of how things are and work. Cept this time around I am liking my veggies....haha, my kids were into hiking, fishing, riding horses, swimming naked (didn't know about that). I was lucky my kids grew up wild in the Oregon woods..the grandkids live a more confined life so I'm trying to open their minds. We have friends of the family, luckily that take them for adventures in the wild here in Oklahoma, we have to watch for ticks though...no ticks in Oregon where I grew up.

Hey, if you haven't gone skinny-dipping, you haven't lived! LOL
My husband says Oregon is absolutely stunning. I've always been on the east coast, except when I was an Army brat living in Seoul, Korea.
The ticks were bad in rural New York too. Not so much here in Florida - but the FLEAS! Holy moly, we must have about 1000 varieties of fleas. My poor pups.
On twitter I have the the hashtag AdultingBadly in my profile! LOL

Man fleas are bad everywhere...my daughter says the same thing about adulting, I'd never heard of it before I got to Oklahoma. My daughter spent several years over on the DMZ serving in the Army, she didn't like Korea much...but the temples and rural communities are beautiful compared to their cities. I miss Oregon, being able to go barefoot all summer...sigh...

I was born fully clothed, you couldn't keep clothes on my kids! Hahaha...I'm the prude of our family.

Good work in bringing the Oregon mindset to Oklahoma! And watch out for those ticks! :O Maybe you will do some 'tick art' -- there's a future Pokemon.

Rural Oregon is much like Oklahoma, very conservative until you go into the cities and liberals rule...I can mix with everyone if I keep my mouth shut :-/ haha

Yep, I'm from western Kansas originally. There's a lot of quiet folks there, too. Oregon is so different from region to region, though, that's for sure. I was thinking of urban Oregon and thereabouts.
