Sarah, this is beautiful! I see what you mean about throwing out the whiteout and persevere. It's such a happy piece! I love it.
it' really does push you and leads to a lot of pleasant surprises. Of course, there are times a piece just can't be saved. Even then it's worth keeping hold of them to look at again with fresh eyes in a few months. just like we do with the odd random paragraphs we have to write down to get out of our heads sometimes.
