Decorate easily! Let's make snowmen

in #art6 years ago (edited)

Hello dear friends Steemians

I greet you from my little corner of Steemit, where I have the opportunity to connect with you, this time I share the English version of a small tutorial, where you can do in simple steps, the decoration of your doors, taking advantage of the fact that Christmas is very close to coming.

In my country, from the end of October we start to fill up with Christmas, a time when magic takes over the environment, despite the adversities, it is necessary to keep the traditions, especially for the little ones of the house, on this occasion, we will use materials that we can easily have at home and others that are available easily and cheaply....

Let's get to work…

We need:

White bond paper (preferably the one you have left from an exhibition you have already made or from a banner)

Christmas ornaments (Flowers, stars, decorative ribbons)

Black bag (a popular large garbage bag)

Black Foami

Silk orange paper

Silicone gun

Step by step

We start by covering the whole door with bond paper! Using the clean paper part to make the effect of snow, use silicone to glue the whole edge, trying to keep the paper very smooth...

We cut the bag to achieve the effect of a hat.... Two pieces, the top one less wide than the bottom one, as I show in the image

Remember to keep the bag wrinkle-free when you glue it to the wall! Do not use too much silicone, a good distribution of good points will be of great help....

Then we began to give color and creativity to the project, to highlight the hat use a gold mesh with a shape.... And one small detail at the end.... Vivid colors and Christmas colors according to the season, use a red scarf fabric that sticks with silicone, trying to give it movement! Let's remember that it must look like a nice Christmas scarf (you can also use decorative ribbons with the Christmas motif or with the colors that suits you best to combine)... For the buttons it occurred to me to take away the boring black and place frosted stars.... Let's see how it's going.

Almost ready! Cut foami in small circles to make the mouth, an oval to make the eyes and with orange tissue paper create a small cone to use as nose.

Ready! Not easy, is it? The idea is to recycle, reuse your decorations, giving your home and even your office a new look... The photos were taken from my IPhone phone while I was shaping my decor!

I hope you enjoyed this simple way of animating your spaces!

Don't forget to leave suggestions, experiences, questions or comments at the end of this post.

Remember my recommendation today: It's not always necessary to spend a lot of money, so that your home has a magical Christmas atmosphere, with love and patience, you will achieve great results.

See you next time.

That's a really cute idea to have the door decorated! Kids gotta love it!

Great idea! You could do something similar with a narrow window, I think...
