Make a Five Minute Santa! Merry Christmas!!
There you are all ready for Christmas when your daughter delivers a hammer blow. Why don't we have a Santa for the top of the tree?
WT all the F's I thought!
Well well what to do but to whip one up, toot sweet!! Fortunately a passable Santa can be done in five minutes if you have the following.
Some red card
Some black card
A little bit of pink or cream card
A tiny bit of gold card if you have it, silver would do or yellow!
A paper plate
Some cotton wool
Some kid friendly glue
An eager child to help
Get cutting, you will need to cut two red triangles, one slightly bigger than the other. Cut the top off the bigger triangle as shown. Also cut your black card in a two inch strip to fit the bottom of the big red triangle
On this bigger triangle, glue a strip along the bottom
Stick your black card on, it's the belt see!
Now cut a buckle shape or of the gold card and stick on
Glue two spots up the front for buttons and stick some cotton wool balls to them
Now cut the plate in half and glue the head pieces together like so
Draw a little face on him too :0)
After the face, glue along the top for his fur lined hat
Glue a cotton bobble to the top of the hat and you are almost done!
Now glue your two halves together!!
Santa!!!
Bang him on top of your tree!!
