New watercolor painting in the making
Hello,
Today I am sharing a watercolor portrait I started the other day of a good friend of mine.
The portait is not finished but I thoght I wuld share some of the progress so far;
This is where I left of. The painting is made with Gansai Tambi watercolors on Hahnemuhle bamboo paper.

I'd love to get back into painting! I find watercolour a little difficult to keep work with. I am pretty heavy handed so I really appreciate seeing watercolour with the lightness you have achieved in the skin tone and in the eyes. :)
Thank you so much @kiwicanfly! :) I find watercolor difficult too, I'm mainly working with oil paint so this is a whole new way of going about it for me, but it's a lot f fun! :)
You captured expression so good, sometimes it's nice to paint someone you know. Somehow character we now comes to surface much easier. Good one, looking forward for finish, and if you leave it now it would be great also.
