Mini portrait-cross hatching method

Today i took a few minutes to draw a pencil portrait. which is very small in size. i call these mini portraits. it turned out good i think.
after that i took about an hour to sketch a portrait digitally. which i don't have on my current hard drive.

so for now i am just sharing the pencil drawing.

here is the drawing:

its a bit messy, rough and not too detailed or given too much attention.
i like these.
i do this kind of drawing to just feel good. like i haven't drawn for a long time or i just want to take a break from regular stuff, so i do these.
