This is my entry for what I consider a very valuable contest, organised daily by @spaingaroo:

Entry for molaa #4

Every day @spaingaroo posts a picture of a page of his sketchbook and hosts a contest for the best interpretations of it in any artistic, creative way. So any artist has seven days to interpret his sketch and post an original interpretation of it.

I consider his sketches and ideas to be lively and full of fun, you can read all about his rules and regulations for joining the contest in this post.

Title: "Thick Ticks" - digital collage (or what is it called?) from sketches with some added poetry/prose

Workflow: can't really put a finger on it - this is @spaingaroo's original sketch (of which I took some elements)

and I added this obscure little drawing from my own sketchbook:

and the text of @spaingaroo inspired me to write a little, short story to complete it.

Looks like you will have another 2SBD coming this afternoon, in just seven hours the post pays out.

I love your page from your sketchbook too.

The second figure, the one you didn't use, is so emotive, reminds me of me.

I am sure in the end, you won't be able to resist putting more of your sketchbooks up too.
As indeed you have already started.

As for your entry.
The end result is quirky and enticing.
It makes me want to do a version of the whole thing
If I have time, I might re-interpret your work here too, with your permission.
