We are getting 75mph winds and rain here, from Atlantic weather. We usually get the remnants of hurricane weather from east coast US here in UK.

Yeah my brother lived in houston since he moved from georgia after he graduated from UGA. he recently moved right after Harvey. He lives in Chicago now.
I hope he lived in the outer ring of Houston, those areas near downtown always get flooded worst.
Was he planning to move to Chicago or did the hurricane change things?
My family has long since left Houston and live all over east and west now!
He worked in Houston as a graphic designer and he found a better job opportunity in Chicago but Harvey happened on the process of him packing and getting ready to move that upcoming weekend. I can understand why they would move. Floods suck!

The ground around there is like clay and doesn't drain very fast, I remember all the colonies of fire ants floating around and if you don't see them in time, they will cover you and sting the crap out of you!!

It's crazy up in there. Glad my bother moved but he may have to deal with blizzards lol or heavy snow storms now
