Oil Painting: Drawing Wings
In my new drawing, I tried to express the wings brightly on the main background, using tools such as the palette knife and the index finger of the right hand.
I present to your attention the steps of drawing this oil painting.
We begin with a sketch. He came out somewhat greasy and green (there are no simple pencils in the house).
Then, in a light yellow tint, we shade our owl.
We proceed to filling with color.
Draw feathers. In the process of drawing, the position of the feathers will change several times, but I believe that the primary drawing is necessary.
We pass to the beak and eyes (more precisely, to the eye, in the field of visibility, he has only one).
Gradually add darkness.
At this stage, "throw" our owl and go to the background. Red, brown, orange with an admixture of brown. When we dilute the dampness on the canvas, you can use your finger, grind and connect the colors.
It's time to actively engage in wings and other details.
It is necessary to throw on the wings and torso varicoloured variations to remove the uniformity of the plumage. Also, you need to form a beak.
We throw under the wings a dark shade to express the bird in the drawing.
And again we return to work on the wings, it's time to clarify them somewhat.
On the wings put a white color with a palette knife.
And then I was going to finish, but the background required refinement, too dull in my opinion. And under the wings I do not have enough darkness.
Rubbing brown paint under the wings, we can very well separate our owl. This is the final step. Finish drawing.
Canvas, oil. The size is 30х30.
