Scary Goblin - digital painting

On Halloween night, strange entities come out from the darkness to play mischief on mankind. Started out as a sketch idea. Scanned into Photoshop.

The figure was painted in with airbrush and stipple brush. The bulging eyes are emphasized to bring out that eerie look.

Building up highlights to bring up texture and 3d effect. To complete the mood I added a nice creepy night with a full moon and lingering mist.
