Haunted Tree - Digital painting
In keeping with the season, a haunted tree is in order. The concept started with a pencil sketch. Then scanned into Photoshop.
the using my trusty mouse painted in the old withered texture and surrounding shrubs.
Stretched the mouth more into an angry expression with the liquify filter. Used the dodge tool to highlight the sides of the tree to bring it out. Lighted up the dark hallow eye sockets to give it life.
This is awesome! I love seeing some good seasonal art!
