Supporting Local Artists

Last year, I met a local artist at a brewery's art walk exhibit. She was so lively, vibrant, excited, and overall a beautiful soul. Ever since that night, I have been following her projects on social media sites; unfortunately she's not a member of Steemit. I have seen her murals around town, and enjoyed meeting up with her at our brewery.

Last year after being devastated by the results of the presidential election, she started a 31 day art project, creating one uplifting, inspirational mixed media art piece per day & giving it away for a donation to the first person to like the picture on either fb or instagram & on the 7th day of the project, I won!

So, obviously, ever since these couple of events, I have been really inspired by her work and just overall a really big fan.

Recently, the same brewery did another art walk exhibit. One week before the event, Jenna decided to do 5 days of discounts. Each day there was a special discount offered on one of her projects, as long as you reserved your spot in time.
So, @dwizard and I reserved our spot to have our beautiful pupster's portrait painted.
