New Creative Uses For Concrete Canvas
Concrete canvas is a material traditionally used in landscaping to create water channels and prevent erosion, but many artists are starting to use it in more creative ways. It has me interested in trying some things with it.
So, what is concrete canvas?
Concrete Canvas is a flexible, concrete impregnated fabric that hardens when hydrated to form a thin, durable, water proof and fire resistant concrete layer. Concrete canvas allows concrete construction without the need for plant or mixing equipment. Simply position the Canvas and just add water. credit

Concrete canvas can be used to create water culverts and is also used under bridges to prevent erosion.

Here are a few examples of benches and chairs made out of concrete canvas.

Concrete canvas can also be used for creating walls and in construction. The fabric gives it more strength than using rebar in the concrete.
This wall was constructed so that plants could be added once the concrete has cured.

Here is a simple design for a table made out of concrete canvas.

One of coolest uses of concrete canvas is this concrete shelter that two people can put up in a day. Basically it's a building in a bag.
Okay, that pretty much freaking rocks. I'm now asking myself why this wasn't used as a temporary patch for the California dam spillway, at least until the rainy season is over.
Good question
So uh.. Where can I get some concrete canvas?
I'm sure there are other sources too in your local area, but here's one place to get it.
