Today I paint phantom from maplestory, she's one of the cooler and flashier characters in the game and i've been playing this game for practically my whole life . I'll put a brief step by step process on how i painted this image
Scared of a white canvas? always colour it anything but white it'll be less scary to draw on and heres the sketch
Base colours in!
Blend those colours!
Shadow effects to create a cinematic effect
and refining the details although still rough and its done!

Im a self taught artist I started around two years ago and only now i've started studying art :)
This sketch reminded me of the Valkyrie. of the video game Valkyrie Profile, but only in the style of the helmet ... very well done. I loved it.
