Teaching - A Way of Life for the Artist
Sharing hard-fought lessons to exponentiate the cultural curve..
Watching our students make quantum leaps in the quality of their work and comprehension of challenging techniques is incredibly inspiring. At times we're envious of the fact that much of the content we share was never handed to us, but deeply researched through endless trial-and-error.
Now as instructors, much of the "error" has been removed from our students' process. This is the nature of transmission stemming from the ancient master/apprentice model. Rather than viewing our students as potential competition in the marketplace, we're investing in a model of collaboration and cooperation, much as Steemit does!

Because we believe in the power of Art to address some of the cultural challenges that we face, there is every reason to empower the next generation with the skills that were not handed to us. As the old saying goes, we are standing on the shoulders of giants in an artistic/scientific lineage that dates back millennia.
In fact, contained within some of the most common art supply materials are the remains of lifeforms that date back hundreds of millions of years. We are literally collaborating with ancient microorganisms and Nature herself.
That's what we call Lineage..
Students and their recent achievements
As an educator myself, I agree that racial harmony and international friendship are important. If every teacher like you play a part regardless of subjects that they are teaching, we can cultivate a better next generation for the future and the great cultural values to be passed on the future generations to come.
