First Pencil Drawing -Portrait of an Introvert Artist

Greetings Steemit community! Here it is, it's totally done. If you have seen my post earlier Portrait: Work in Process (Part 1), well this is the finished portrait.

A lady character from the movie Game of Thrones. She is Queen DaenerysTargaryen. Daughter of King Aegon IV. If you have seen the movie, you've known her that much then.

For this portrait, I've chosen this as my subject because I love her beauty. The hair, face and everything. She is just so angelic.

After how many weeks of not posting any of my watercolor tutorial -artworks, this newly explored medium and technique of mine will take you to be inspired to jump in your comfort zone. I usually love to share my watercolor artworks here then it stopped because of hectic schedules and college stuff yet I still managed to view and upvote of some posts here. Now, let's flip the page and start how I did my portrait pencil drawing.

MATERIALS USED:

• strathmore toned tan paper
• charcoal eraser
• mechanical pencil (use this pencil for the grid lines)
• H & 2B (it is like a regular pencil; use for layouting)
• 6B (not that dark and not that lighter; its texture of color is between H/2B and 7B; good for linings)
• 7B & 8B (this gives a darker texture on your sketch)
