Pet Portrait: Ralph and George

Ralph and George, Corgis

My favorite part of drawing dog portraits is seeing the surprise and joy of the recipient. I drew this for my best friend, Jenny. She doesn’t own a dog, but has an obsession with corgis. And who couldn’t love their cute faces and wiggling corgi butts. @RalphtheCorgi is her favorite Instagram dog. She loves to follow Ralph and his brother, George, on all their adventures.

Jenny is one of my best friends. I met her in college during my junior year. We got connected through our common friend, Vik. Our senior year, we lived together with our friends Sara and Melina. My friendship with Jenny has been a rollercoaster ride and we've made a lot of amazing memories.

Jenny is full of life and always down for a good time! Since she's up for adventure, she became my best travel companion. One year we went to both Iceland and St. Maarten. We've also made domestic trips together to Denver, Austin, and Las Vegas.

This past summer she moved to New York City where she has always dreamed of living. She loves it there and I'm so happy for her. New York was made for her and I can't wait to visit her this fall.
