A step by step quick sketch of a realistic eye using a normal pencil.

Hi fellow steemians 😁 I would like to share this information on how to draw an eye with just a normal pencil.

Everybody have their own unique and beautiful eyes which varies from shape and color. It is very wonderful for us, humans to have the chance to use these amazing gifts from God. Have you ever imagined how God created our eyes? Have you ever wanted to add some of your ideas to make one? It may not be as magical as how God created them but we can have our own ways to draw them.

If yes, I am more than willing to help you out. So here are few easy steps to draw eyes.

1. Prepare the materials needed.
   • Drawing paper
   • Pencil (any pencil will do)
   • spreader (will be used for shading)
   

2. Draw the shape of an eye. It is more likely, two connected curve lines opposite from each other.
   Then draw a circle inside it. That would be the iris in the center of our eyeballs.

3. Draw a small circle inside the center of the big circle and shade it. That would be the pupil.
   

4. Shade the top part of the big circle and lighten the shading as you go to the bottom part of it.
   Leave two small rectangles at the right side of the big circle unshaded. It is for the eye reflections to make it more realistic.
   But it is up to you on how you will show the eye reflections as long you are comfortable with it.
   
   It should probably look like this.
   

5. Now that the eye is already formed, you can now put some details like eye lashes and shading.
   draw the eyelashes by putting small lines above the arc and at the bottom part of the eye.
   

6. After putting some eyelashes. Draw the eyebrows. To make it more realistic, you can draw it by just drawing oblique lines consecutively until you can form the eyebrow.
   *If you want it to be thicker, you can repeat drawing lines until you are satisfied with the thickness.
   
   Then...
   

7. The last part, shading and finalizing.
   In shading, I used a spreader in order to make the shadow. If you dont have a spreader you can also use your fingers to spread the marks in order to emphasize your shading.
   
   Then...
   
   How to use the spreader. Draw some shading below the eye and the eyelid. Then spread the shading using the spreader to make it more realistic.
