The little things... in the city filled with Art.
Ok so not the largest one in the world, but I wholeheartedly appreciate when a city like Hamilton OH comes together as a community to create something. To let the kids play. To dream, build relationships and imagine a better world.
When the murals go up, you can envision a world without heartbreak and pain through the colors.
You watch tiny hands sculpt clay objects and see the pride in their faces. Because they just created something from their imagination.
The joy in their eyes as business owners come together to give them a chance to make new friends, and even some cookies.
You start to understand that despite al the craziness in this world, that some of the littlest moments are such a huge deal to the tiny humans who will own the future through the creations of many hands before them.
And you are happy, Full of peace, and so incredibly grateful.
Beautiful place
Thank you! Like everywhere, it hasn't it's ups and downs, but I appreciate the beauty of the old buildings and everything the art community does to bring people together. There's so much more I didn't get to take pics of today. Next time 😊
It's lovely how little details can put a smile on your face. Walking around the city, in a hurry to get to your job, stressing about loans, bills and deadlines you walk past a pretty graffiti on a wall or a beautiful flowerpot and suddenly you forget about your problems for a moment. I know it doesn't solve any of them, it just helps you deal with them in a better mood.
