National Geographic Photo Inspired Tattoo

Hi Steemians! So this photo recently floated across my Instagram feed:

I’ve always loved indigenous rock carvings, I’ve been luck enough to see many amazing examples in Hawai’i’ and Colorado. This beautiful artwork obviously comes from Africa. It inspired me to do up a little tattoo design.

I am not 100% happy with the colored version, because the colors weren’t as bright as I wanted. But, if I get to do it as a tattoo, I will be sure to go with bolder and brighter colors.

It’s just a simple design, but I like to get things drawn out before I forget about them. Sometimes inspiration comes from unexpected places, so I usually have a whole folder full of images waiting to be turned into a tattoo or other piece of artwork!
