To Feel

The original quote is from an amazing woman, Helen Keller. She was the first deaf-blind person to earn a bachelor of arts degree.

Reading about her life, I could understand her perspective with regards to this quote. However, for me personally, I could not 100% commit to that statement. It stirred in me thoughts of various religions and schools of thought that say that as this world is transient, or rather, our time here is, that the eternal world of the afterlife is all that matters. This has led to the blatant disregard for the natural world and ultimately its abuse.
Therefore, I modified the statement to start with, some. It then fitted nicely with the feeling of this latest painting of mine and my own feelings.

Yes, you know when it is the right subject, and go with it. Difficult, technically with time and practice, no. Difficult if its hard to face personally, yes, that could require work.
