There is an apparent endemic corruption in the power structures of the world. People are encouraged to turn a blind eye, but a few are brave enough to speak out, and when they do they become targeted as criminals.
We live in a maelstrom of conflicting positions, each vying for our attention. It is therefore not surprising that some choose to bury their head in the sand.
