별을 노래하는 인간

10년전, 난생 처음 배낭 여행을 떠나 사막에서 하룻밤을 보낸 적이 있었습니다. 저녁 7시가 조금 넘었을 뿐인데 사방은 완전히 깜깜해졌습니다. 쌀쌀한 날씨에 잠은 오지 않고, 남은 긴긴 밤을 무얼하며 보내야 하나 생각하던 중 머리 위로 떠오른 수많은 별이 눈에 들어오기 시작했습니다. 그러던 어느 순간, 별과 별 사이를 잇는 보이지 않는 선이 하늘에 그려지며 어떤 형태를 띄어 갔습니다. 감동적인 순간이었습니다. 별자리를 그린 첫 사람들도 밤하늘을 보며 계속 선을 그었을 겁니다. 수천년 전에 그은 그 선이 지금도 밤하늘의 별과 별 사이를 잇습니다.

Ten years ago, I had spent one night in the desert during my first backpacking trip. It was just a little passed 7 pm, but the whole place was completely dark. Because of the chilly weather, I was unable to sleep, so I wondered how I can spend the rest of the night. At that time, many stars above my head began to come into my eyes.
Meanwhile, a timid line appeared and started to connect the star. It was a touching moment. The first people who made stories about stars would have continued to watch the night sky. The line which was drawn thousands of years ago, still connects between stars and stars in the night sky.
