Full commitment to the art may result in the creation of beautiful art piece ...But this can also lead to an easy attack on your ego at the moment you commit your work to your audience.
It is very important to see both sides of the coin.
Both sides are useful if you know how to use them.
Only an artist who is fully devoted with art can honestly express himself in the picture. Detaching is equally important.
Instead of recognizing your art as part of you... think of her as your own children. You want for them as best as possible but the kids are good and sometimes not. But in the end these bad kids teach you the most.
Even if someone strongly criticizes your work, remember: The carpenter makes a chair but the carpenter is not a chair, it is not personal
