This piece was a commission for a 25 wedding anniversary of the Winnipeg Human Rights Museum. Took me six months to complete and many many hours. The couple was thrilled. Thats one of my favourite parts of the creative process the moment the piece finds its new home. That moment that you give your commission to whom your have been creating it for. Or the moment you see someone fall inlove with a piece you created and you see it spark some sort of memory or emotion in them. That is the best feeling an artist could ever have. I lucked out this weekend at an art show I was in, getting to walk in a witness an elderly couple discuss a piece with so much excitement and joy. It made my heart so full...
