Legend of Zelda Art Updated & Meaningless Rambling
I shared a quick sketch a couple of days ago, see post here, and decided to color it in.
This is part of my "Sketch More, Post More" Plan 2k18.
In the past I usually posted, maybe, two times a week on social media but I'm trying to ramp up my efforts and post at least 5 times. Will I burn myself out? Stay tuned to find out!
It's all in an effort to try to grow a larger following. I don't want to be a slave to social media, but I feel it's so crucial to me finding work and getting exposure as a freelance artist. If I wasn't an artist, I probably wouldn't even have Instagram or Twitter or what not, to be honest.
Embarrassingly enough, I have googled a couple of times, "How to grow your Instagram following". The piece of advice I saw in a couple of blog articles was to post art that was within one style to keep your feed looking uniform.
Consistent art style? I don't know her.
I know I have a style, but I like to experiment too much with different mediums and coloring techniques to try to appeal to that Instagram "aesthetic". So cross that off the checklist.
The next big piece of advice was to post every day. Which brings us back to my plan. Every day seems like a lot to jump into, so I'm thinking five days is a more manageable goal.
And my goal for Steemit is to post every two days. So far, so good? Part of me feels like publicly announcing this will hold me a little bit more acountable. We'll see.
Well, anyways...

Wow. So much better in color. Wish I had more time to add this extra layer to some of my sketches.
Nothing better than daily sketches to build up a following. And yours look so professional. Keep up the amazing work!
really nice, theresa <3 his pose definitely is relaxed and natural and i love how he seems to be conversing idly with the falling leave face... and it looks so autumny now, in colours !!
...
would be fab to see more posts from you <3 but pls dont burn out . __ .!!!
Wooooow! I love it XD Speaking of consistent art style, I don't know her as well hahahha I love it that you experiment on techniques. I think it is part of your artistic freedom. You experiment, you learn XD No limitation at all.
Right?? I'm sitll trying to figure this whole art thing out, still trying to grow as an artist so of course my styles are gonna change a little as I'm figuring this all out. I can't be bothered to stay consistent XD
Oh yeeeesss! Of course we need to change for the better <3 looking forward for more of your works! :D
