Da, Da Vinci, Day
Artist, Inventor, Scientist, Fashion Designer, etc.
Well Da Vinci has been a favorite artist, scientist and inventor for all the ages... and considering the time period he accomplished his works, is absolutely astounding. His written explanations and process descriptions all meticulously recorded... but in code as he wrote mirror image and upside down in code to safeguard his findings.
As an artist and art lover, among other interests like science, inventions, medical research, etc., I could not pass up the opportunity to visit the Da Vinci show at the Boston Museum of Science ( https://www.mos.org/exhibits/da-vinci-the-genius ).
Walking In
You were greeted by probably the most famous of his drawings...of himself, but what a great sight and instant smack of intrigue, emotion and awe (knowing this guy will live forever).
Flying Machine 1
Next you are greeted by one of his flying machines hanging overhead... a bird like structure with flappable wing span.
Flying Machine 2
The Helicopter prototype was a stunning piece that would work as just art in your home... what a blend of Art and Science, by the Master.
Not just flying machines
Da Vinci also designed many a device up to the first prototype of a tank... grinders, movers and models to demonstrate physics.
Explanation for the first tank...
The "Artists Glass"
This device was designed to aid an artist in the accurate depiction of perspective in their drawings and paintings.
Fashion
Yes Da Vinci was even called upon to design fashions and costumes for theater, and social events. (A Predecessor to Gucci)?
Anatomy
No finer a detailer of Human Anatomy existed to the time of DaVinci, from the ancient Egyptian renderings (1600 BC), through ancient Greece (480 BC), to the advancements in the medieval days (1300 AD) and (1400 AD being Da Vincis period of contribution).
Stunning detail, even through conceptual documentation.
Art
Where would any Da Vinci exposition be without mention of his incredible drawings and paintings?
(Depiction) "Vitruvian Man" depiction of human proportions...
The self portrait...
Last Supper
A video presentation of the science, characterizations, methods of his masterpiece "The Last Supper".
Mona Lisa
And where would any discussion or account of Da Vinci be without the history, detail, mysteries that enshroud the Mona Lisa? The exhibit featured a vast amount and array of detail on this painting, with the 25 mysteries explained. These were but a few of the many faces and mysteries.
Lisa Gherardini
The original appearance of the painting...
Current transformed image...
What we see now...
Mystery 1
The Experience
This was but a small portion of he wonders in this exhibit that reinforced many things I knew, but introduced far more that I did not... but isn't that why (or should be), the purpose of any well designed exhibit... a great day!
PS. I used the drag and drop uploader for images from my phone cache, a great steemit addition, thanks! And the best part is I did not need to adjust the positioning from portrait to landscape, it worked automatically

Danke @germanlifestyle
Looks like a great exhibition!
Yes it was great as it had many things that were not in other exhibits.... more to the reasoning than the piece.
