Today I will show you how to paint a watercolor by mountains.

It would be nice to use watercolor paper for this.
Attach it to a dense picture or a wooden planet with a paint tape. When you tear off the tape, you will have a clear and beautiful white frame.
Remember: the first plan you will have warm, contrasting colors, more detailed. The farther away, the colors are colder and paler. The lights will be warm, the shadows are cold.
The contours of the mountains are planned with a pencil.

It is possible to take an oil pastel of white color and to brighten to it those places where in a drawing there will be a snow.
Watercolor will not paint these areas, because the pastel will create a paint barrier.
Paint the top edge of the paper blue to darken the top of the sky. After painting the uppermost centimeters of the sky, rinse the brush and draw a full brush of water. Use the technique of transition of two colors, rich and pale. He must pale towards the horizon.
Continue painting the sky to the line of mountains. Before proceeding, allow the paint to dry completely.

Use a paper towel or a rag to remove the paint in several places, creating clouds and color transitions.

You can leave an unpainted part of the sky on the border with the mountain line. Do not forget to soften the contours of the paint surrounding the unpainted area.

Allow the paint to dry before proceeding to the next step.
To make the mountains look natural, do not make straight lines. Make them slightly incised and uneven.
Do not worry about the uniformity of applying paint on the mountains, the presence of different color spots will resemble real mountains.
Draw the central plane. It is warmer and brighter than the rear.

It's a good idea to leave gaps and spaces between the lines for naturalness, touch the paper quite easily, to reveal the texture.
Draw a mountain. Type the full brush of the dominant paint color. Draw a line, starting on the left straight from where the sky ends. Stretch it with paper. Paint the mountains one color, making the peak darker, and the foot lighter.

Draw a highlight in the middle plan with the color you used for the top of the sky and mountains.
Detail the foreground. Start drawing a background for the trees on the left and right.

When all three plans have been painted, start drawing them.

Shadows in fir groves and detailed study of the first plan, and your work is almost ready.
