“Having a gallery at home”

I make my art gallery all the time with my family at home wherever I move. Having an art gallery at home is such a nice thing. We don’t need to decide any rules. Just enjoy our life with art. Of course, we get inspiration from famous artists a lot but art is for everybody. We all can be artists including kids and we can enjoy being in art anytime want. Music, food, drink, people, animals are also necessary for a home art gallery I think. Without anything, I feel empty. Making comfort is my life theme. That’s why, I like to visit art galleries, which have a comfortable atmosphere.

『自宅にアートギャラリー』

どこに引っ越しても、私は家族と一緒に自宅にアートギャラリーを作ります。家にアートギャラリーがあるのは、とても素敵です。ルールは必要ありません。アートのある生活をただ単に楽しみます。もちろん、有名な芸術家の作品からインスピレーションを受けますが、アートはみんなのものです。子供も大人もみんな芸術家になれますし、いつでも好きなときにアートを楽しめます。家のアートギャラリーには音楽・食べ物・飲み物・人・動物が必要だと、私は考えます。何もないとガランとしているように感じます。快適にする事が、私の人生のテーマです。ですから、快適な雰囲気のアートギャラリーを訪れるのが好きです。

“Contemporary Art Gallery”

There are many beautiful art galleries in Japan. Actually, there are many different sizes of their spaces. Also, there are a lot of small galleries for having individual exhibitions or groups of artists. These contemporary art galleries are very casual and you can see a lot of wonderful art by unique artists. Nowadays, they allow us to take pictures of art depending on the situation. That’s awesome! People like to take photos and share with people like me. I really appreciate their permission. Those artists have big minds. I want to share their beautiful art as much as I can!

日本にはたくさんの美しいアートギャラリーがあります。実に様々な規模のギャラリーが存在します。それに、個人またはグループで個展を開催する、小規模のギャラリーもたくさんあります。これらの現代アートギャラリーはまるで形式張っていなく、ユニークな芸術家の素晴らしい作品の数々を目にすることができます。近頃では、状況によりけりですが、芸術作品を写真に収めることができます。すごいですよね！私のように写真を撮ってシェアするのが好きな人たちにとって、写真撮影を許可していただけることは大変ありがたいことです。そういう芸術家はとても大きな心をお持ちですね。できるだけシェアして、みんなに広めたいです。

“ History Of Art Galleries In Japan”

I think we have the pretty good quality of art in Japan. Most people are interested in some kinds of art which are like, Buddhist Art, Japanese Traditional Art, Modern Japanese Art, Contemporary Art, Animation, of course including music too. I heard, before museum culture, people could see traditional art through temples once in a while when they opened to people. In 1872, there was an exhibition at the Yushima Seido for the public after the Meiji Restoration. They showed fine art and crafts. In 1970-1980, Japan started having more and more art museums like now. I think we really appreciate having museums in our lives like this. Sometimes, you can have free or discount entrance tickets of museum through an office, department store or restaurant. Also, after visiting a museum, you can use those tickets for cafés or restaurants as discount tickets.

『日本の美術館の歴史』

日本には、数々の質の良い美術館があると思います。仏教美術・伝統芸術・近代美術・現代美術・アニメーションなど、もちろん音楽も含み、ほとんどの人が何かしらの芸術に興味があると思います。近代の美術館文化の以前は、一般の人々は時々神社で行われるご開帳の際、伝統美術品を目にすることができたそうです。明治維新後の１８７２年、湯島聖堂で一般の人々向けに美術工芸品の展示が行われました。
１９７０年代から８０年代にかけて、現代のようなたくさんの美術館が増えて行きました。このように、生活の中にたくさんの美術館があることに感謝します。時々、会社・デパート・レストランなどで無料または割引の入場チケットをもらうことができます。また、美術館を訪れた後に、カフェやレストランで割引チケットとして半券を活用することもできます。
