Shower Thoughts

“What happened?” Dexi looked at the ceiling, arms crossed atop her head

Her mind was spinning. “Dr. Auzenne told me it would get better.”
The scalding hot water did nothing to wash away the incident. Her skin wouldn´t even notice anymore.

Exhaustion seemed to have become an emotion.
Dexi´s eyes followed the patterns on the tiles, stopping when they reached what seemed like a solution.

“Today is the day.”
