ART Activity For The Week: A Woman's Curve
A Woman's Curve
This will be my third time to draw a naked woman. The first one was my entry for a nude drawing contest, the second was my cover image for my poem and the third one is my entry to @danielfs Art Contest with a theme, A Human Body.
So I choose the body of a woman because I'm a woman. 😁
Materials Used
- Mitsubishi Pencil 3H, 3B, 6B and HB
- Kneadable Eraser
- Sketchpad 304mm by 457mm
- Cotton
Work in Progress
First, I used Mistubishi 3H Pencil to sketch the body's outline.
Second, I used different pencils for the shading. I'm still a novice to this kind of art since I'm more of an anime artist. Furthermore, I used Mitsubishi 3B for medium dark shade, Mitsubishi 6B for darker shade and Mitsubishi 3H for lighter shade.
Third, after shading, I erased the outline using the kneadable eraser.
Fourth, I used Mitsubishi HB Pencil to trace the body's outline. However, when I took a picture of it, it was not that visible, and with that, I outlined it again using Mitsubishi 3B.
The Output
I've had a hard time on the shading part but I'm still proud that I was able to see some improvements. So, here's the final output.

Naning tayo beshie para makadatong lang hehehe. Wala namna koi mapost paman gud so apil2 nalang contest. Bago2 raman pod ko gatuon ani nga dinowingan usually anime rajud akoa man.

I'm still new to this too. My suggestion is to try to watch youtube tutorials then look on the net too some tutorial post. I did that and somehow managed to learn slowly. Surely, if you follow it a hundred times, you'll be an amazing artist someday. But anyway, thank you for your comment. It really means a lot to me!
