Artwork #13: PORTRAIT OF A SAGACIOUS WOMAN |WITH PROCESSES PROVIDED

Hi Steemians! Here I am again wanna share my another artwork of mine with processes provided. This is kinda not so perfect but I hope you'll love it!

Materials Needed:

Sketch Pad
Charcoal Pencil
Eraser

Step 1: SKETCH THE SHAPE OF THE FACE

For the first process, you need to lightly sketch the shape of the face using the charcoal pencil

Step 2: TRACING SOME IMPORTANT PARTS OF THE PORTRAIT

Draw your subject with tracing fine lines

Step 3: SKETCH THE EYEBROWS, NOSE, EYES, AND LIPS

Just lightly sketch the eyebrows, nose, eyes, and lips using the charcoal pencil

Step 4: SKETCH THE HAIR

In sketching the hair, just slowly trace it with every fine lines

Step 5: SMUDGING THE PARTS OF THE PORTRAIT

In smudging the parts of the portrait, you can use a smudging tool or your fingers to draw out the shadows

Step 6: SMUDGING THE HAIR

You can do highlights and shadowing of your hairlines by using the different medium like a charcoal, graphite or pastel pencils since it could blend with creating your shadows very well

Step 7: FINAL PROCESS

In here you can add more shadows, do more smudging if it is still needed in order to create a very fine details of the portrait.

Finally, you can now expose your portrait!
