The Cloud Generations

I attemped to put into words my thoughts on why so many of our children have a death wish. (eating tide pods and snorting condoms. wtf. ) This was the result. My brain took me down an unusual path today, enjoy! 😊
The Cloud Generations
One generation cries salty tide pod tears.
The cloud pool melts from the apathy.
The other generation gleefully celebrates and cheers.
Splashing around in the resources like they have no fears.
The cloud pool spills over from the denial.
The last generation perches on the edge of the pool.
Careful not to get too soiled from the tide pod tears.
This generation sucks up all the resources and laughs as it all disappears.

Good poem. So true. Some people are so stupid. I just hope my children don’t follow suit and stop to think before they act.
This was a really nice write up of your thoughts. These social media challenges are so dangerous and redunculous!!! All for views, likes and followers, it’s so sad and disturbing. To be honest I don’t keep up with all of them and only went to search about these two after reading your post.
I am so thankful we homeschool our children. I’m not saying that will stop them from ever getting into anything silly but giving them a solid foundation sets them up to make better decisions. They are not getting all of that bad influence at a young age from public school. I remember the silly things I used to do in school for attention and popularity. Lord this genre needs you badly. Parents need to monitor their children’s internet usage and not just let them zone off in their rooms for hours doing these crazy things.

Absolutely. Talking about the problems in the world with our kids should happen more. pretending like its not happening is hurting our children. They are smart, they know something isn't right. 😑
Exactly!! I’d rather them hear from us then hearing about them outside of our home first.
great art and words, children today are so bombarded, I'm usually in the mountains with my kids but now I am next to a city with them and the amount of advertising everywhere is full on.
its crazy isn't it? we've built this whole system around selling ads to people. everything is engineered to maximize profit. i can't wait for the day that the world makes sense. 😑
