ART EXPLOSION WEEK 19: Theme BROKEN. My entry "Broken side"

Heres my entry. A sculpture made from plaster of paris. Casted my own face using petroleum jelly, gauze, tissue paper, and plaster of paris.
This sculpture signifies a person capable of doing so many things yet still too fragile and can be broken. Though I as a creator of this masterpiece put myself in a Godly perspective knowing that this sculpture could be broken into pieces still I could fixe it like the creator of our life would do. We may be broken but God will always fix us. I decided not to break the sculpture in to pieces to maintain its beauty. However it is as fragile as ceramic products or a kitchen plate.

The whole process would only take half a day.
