Mount RainiersteemCreated with Sketch.

From Seattle there are many places you can see Mount Rainier, but in the winter it is often completely obscured by clouds. One day in early April while out for a walk on the beach in Discovery park the cloud cover was very high giving a phenomenal view of Rainier with just the top lost to the clouds.

One of the great things about shooting landscapes in Seattle in the winter, early spring and late fall, is the closer to sunrise and sunset most of the day so you almost always have nice directional light, at least on the days you don't work through the daylight.

Very nice.
Is that film?

Thanks @voder,

It is digital, but it was cloudy and late in the afternoon so the light was failing and I was using a telephoto lens so I had to crank the ISO a bit. Making it black and white make the grain more film like.
