Taj Mahal with Drawing
A most beautiful place with a Love story to go with it.
The ivory-white marble mausoleum is on the south
bank of the Yamuna river in the Indian city of Agra.
Shah Jahan (reigned from 1628 to 1658), to house the tomb of his
favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. She was a Persian princess who died giving birth to their 14th child.
It's construction begain in 1632 and was fully complete by 1648 with surrounding buildings and gardens.
He so Loved his wife that he wanted her to spend eternity in this beautiful mausolem complete with a mosque and a guest house.
A paradise which, according to Islamic beliefs, consists of four rivers: one of water, one of milk, one of honey, and one of wine.
It has many Flowers and trees within the gardens.
The false tomb sets in the main chamber,
While the actual tombs are on the lower chamber.
