Fantasy world of Mandelbulber planet
Imagine you are on an alien planet, where there are absolutely different forms of existence than on earth, yet they are built by a similar system. The pictures bellow are untitled, name them as you like.
All of these fractals were made with the free software, the Mandelbulber.
You can download it here: http://www.mandelbulber.com
You'll need patience and learning to make awesome flame fractals.
You'll also need a higher powered computer and 64 bit version, unless you have to wait hours to a HRES rendered image.
These are just amazing-- the surface rendering is just beautiful! They remind me totally of things I have seen in some of my stranger dreams... that top one, in particular; looks like a "Hanging Parachute City." In general, they are totally believable alien landscapes... makes me wonder if there really IS a fractal universe....
We are really living in a fractal universe. Already Hermes Trismegistus knew it, and written his teachings on Tabula Smaragdina. “As above, so below, as within, so without, as the universe, so the soul…”
think I may also have to mess around with Mandelbulber a bit, those are some real cool images!
I love stuff like this. It all seems so possible... probably because we are so used to seeing fractals out in nature already
This is so cool!!
Thanks :) Oh, I remember you from TSU, recognized your face. :)
yeah... my cheeks give me away ahahaha
These are fantastic! It would be so excellent to develop a story that tied them all together. Upvoted & resteemed!
Yes, this is a good idea, but I'm not a sci-fi writer, just reader.
I am not a writer either. Maybe there is a Steemian out there who would take it on. Collaboration time! :) Keep up the inspiring work!
Very nice. :-)
Hi @kalemandra ! Great to see you here... I see avatar-like floating islands, parting of the red sea, inside duodenums, desert sands and cliffs & valleys...
Oh, how nice to meet you again on Steemit! We know each other by TSU.
Yes! The reunion of ex-Tsu-vians... :)
These are amazing, well done! I'd like to learn, checked out the link, but looks complicated!
Those are great.
You should split them into a series of posts and hypertext link them to each other.
You deserve a better return for the time you put into these.
I already had a series of random fractals. I'm planning to start new, with 3D fractals.
Great, I'm looking forward to seeing them.
Very nice fractals! I like to use Mandelbulber too, it is a fun program.
I agree with you. But my laptop and its Windows is sooo slow to render these images. After two weeks I'll go back to Miskolc and there is a stronger PC with Linux.
