Step one: find a picture and print it, preferably in black in white because we use pencil for this drawing.

Step two: draw a grid of squares on the printed picture. And also very lightly draw a grid with the same amount of squares whether bigger or smaller (this depends on the size of paper you will draw on) on the paper you will draw on.

Step three: Sketch all the outlines and edges that you see and sketch them square by square this way you will get amore accurate picture.

Step four: Start shading the picture and it's best to start from the top left corner if you are right handed to avoid smudging while you shade.

Hold your pencil side ways and use the wide surface for shading.
Shade the areas as closely to their darkness/lightness as possible.

Step five: Once the whole picture is shaded use a soft towel of kleenix to smooth out the pencil strokes.

Step six: find a frame to put the picture in.
