ART EXPLOSION WEEK 28: Theme MELANCHOLY (second post)
Hi, the steemit community. Thanks for visiting my post. This drawing I have done to participate for the second time in the contest organized by @juliakponsford.
On this occasion I decided to draw a male face, unlike the previous one. In the face you can see the subject concentrated and outside their environment, evoking a memory that has left him sad to the point of not being able to control a soft tear that decides to rest on his lips, the only present evidence of that pain that the memory produces .
Regarding the drawing itself, I must say that the most difficult thing was to work the little tear. I had never tried to do the effect before and erase and try again, I think I did. The face I did with pencil and charcoal, but for the first time the use of charcoal was greater. I think I knew how to handle it well and get a result that I'm quite satisfied with. I hope you too.

Really like this drawing, It makes me to wonder what the character is thinking about.
Sometimes thinking that one was happy and remembering it is enough to be frustrated by only being able to travel to the past with a fleeting thought and not with the body.
It's incredible how many emotions we keep inside us and how much we can express through one tear. Beautiful drawing!
Thank you very much. I think that is what I liked most, that only a detail as small as a tear can change the full meaning of an image and transform it that way.
I really like the intense look in this one :)
Thank you, @juliakponsford
