3D Design Modeling The Batmobile 9th Part (Rear Tires)

Hi Steemit colleagues, we are in the ninth installment of the 3D design tutorial "The Batmobile".

In this part we will design the rear tires, which are extraordinary and very characteristic of this vehicle, therefore it will be a more advanced modeling than normal, so I recommend you carry it out in detail to learn new techniques that may be applied in any project.

We start this design with the help of a tube, which will rotate and configure all its sections and its edge to achieve the exact measurement of the tire:

We will select some edges along the object to be able to move them and create the base of the blocks by selecting polygons that we will later extrude and we will make some internal extrusions to avoid the rounding when applying a surface subdivision:

We continue selecting the polygons that will allow us to give the correct shape to the object and once selected we will give internal extrusion and then extrude to expose those that will make up the studs and the different shapes of the tire:

We will make a series of selections and extrusions according to the reference images and the real images of the vehicle to be able to get as close as possible to the final finish:

With all these modifications and selecting the correct polygons we can obtain the optimal result.

Tires with a particular design, in which we learned the use of the multiple selection tool and the group extrusion.
