TRIPLE PORTRAIT of my doggie - FULL PAINTING PROCESS from scratch

FIRST OF ALL I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR FOLLOW ME. I PASSED THE HUNDRED FOLLOWER THANKS TO YOU ALL!!!

I would like to share with you the complete process -from scratch- of an oil painting of my doggie called Fito.
I wanted to make a triple portrait.
From a lot of photos I choosed three.

Here below some photos taken in different places and at different times.

My choice!

With these three photos I did a composition study to look for what best fits the idea that I have in mind.

This is the result of that study:

Please note that this is a rough work that has only as purpose to find a suitable composition.

Then I did a sketch of the same size of oil painting.
The drawing was made with charcoal, brown, yellow, sepia and white chalk on kraft paper.
